
The AlwaysOn X Funed portfolio dropped 7.2% for the week, while the NASDAQ declined 5.9%, and the S&P 500 was down 5%. Year-to-date, AO X is down 4.5%, the NASDAQ is down 7.8%, and the S&P 500 is down 8.3%.
Google purchased airline data company ITA for $700 million. In the last months, ITA had been the subject of interest among Microsoft, Kayak, and Expedia. With this purchse, it's obvious that Google will enter the online travel space very soon. For the week, GOOG dropped 7.6%.
Mexican gourmet fast-food provider Chipotle has been growing 39% during the last three years, and the stock has advanced by 17% annually. Average spent per customer has gone from $8 in 2005 to $10.5 in 2009, while the year-end restaurant count has increased from 489 in '05 to 956 in '09. International expansion is among the key priorities for the company in the near term, led by recent openings in Europe. For the week, CMG dropped 6.5%.
EnerNOC secured a new contract with Carnegie Mellon College for the purchase of EnerNOC's SiteSMART energy-efficiency application for two of Carnegie's buildings on its Pittsburgh, PA campus. For the week, ENOC was down 5%.
